The following terms and conditions apply to
ultrasound machine warranty coverage:
- Unless otherwise noted, ultrasound machines come with a one-year warranty.
- Coverage is in effect beginning the day the ultrasound machine is delivered to the facility.
- Complete on-site service within 24 hours of notification.
- Parts and labor are covered for any defect with the ultrasound machine*
- Coverage extends to everything from ultrasound probes, to circuit boards, to peripherals- Yearly preventative maintenance examination of the machine.
| * Warranty covers failure of the ultrasound machine resulting from normal operating conditions. Warranty does not cover abuse or misuse of the ultrasound system or accessories. Failure due to operator error, such as dropping transducers or running machine over cables is not covered under this warranty. Failure due to fire, smoke resulting from fire, natural disaster, or other acts of God are not covered under this warranty. |
The following terms and conditions apply to
ultrasound transducer warranty coverage:
- Coverage applies for the length of time specified on the quotation or invoice.
- - Typical warranty is between 90 days and one year from the date of purchase.
- Warranty covers failure of the transducer under normal operating conditions*
- ATS will replace or repair the transducer at its discretion.
- An evaluation of the transducer may be necessary to determine the nature of the failure. Evaluation is to be performed at ATS' facilities and will be documented.
- -Normal operating procedure is to send a replacement transducer if one fails during the warranty period. However, due to inventory fluctuations, if a replacement cannot be sent immediately, ATS will repair the transducer as soon as possible. Warranty repairs always receive first priority and are usually performed within two business days.
